Alexandr Rogov is a celebrity stylist turned fashion designer and reality TV star — think a Russian Rachel Zoe-type — so unsurprisingly, his show was stacked with celebrities and enthusiastic teens eager to feast their eyes on his latest offerings. After pushing through masses of people to get in, the runway show finally began with a series of models wearing billowy chiffon dresses done up in a combination of punchy pinks and oranges. Rogov then displayed a range of asymmetrical wool coats layered over pullovers and embellished with feathers, which were all styled with wide-brimmed hats and leather gloves. On the bottom half, animal-printed knee-length skirts and shiny leather minis gave the collection a rock ‘n’ roll, hard-edged feel. Toward the end, candy-apple red- and electric blue-washed garments took center stage, and all-black ensembles closed out the show. Standout looks included two floor-length shearling coats that could double as blankets.
